These are the German fingerings for a recorder. If your recorder has Baroque fingerings, the F fingering will be different, and you need to consult the fingering chart that came with your recorder. Remember, the left hand thumb covers the hole in back and 3 left hand fingers cover the front holes closest to the mouthpiece. The 4 fingers of the right hand are used to cover the other holes when needed. Blow gently and say du or too with your tongue to start each note. Make sure you are pressing hard enough and covering the holes completely so no air can escape from the holes that are supposed to be covered.
