Hello, you finally made it!  Let's get started.

We will be reviewing the following concepts:

    1.  rhythm
    2.  note names
    3.  recorder fingerings
    4.  playing skills
    5.  listening skills
 
 


 
 
 

First, let's review the following rhythms.

      = Whole note = 4 beats = CLAP AS "whole-2-3-4"

=  Dotted Half Note = 3 beats = CLAP AS "half-note-dot"
 

=  Half note = 2 beats = CLAP AS "half-note"

=  Quarter Note  = 1 beat  = CLAP AS "ta"

=  Eighth Note  = 1/2 beat = CLAP AS "ti" (half of ti-ti)
 


 

Secondly, we should review the following note names.
